Welcome to the Director’s Forum.

Once again it is time to select a slate of top notch shows submitted by our stable of top notch Directors! We are very pleased with the work done by our current and future 2011/2012 alumni and look forward to working with them again. For the upcoming season we plan  to continue to grow our list of directors as we craft an exciting theater year!

This space is made available to those who have directed for us in the past and are interested in returning and those prospective directors with submissions under consideration to communicate amongst themselves or liaison with PCT production staff (at least initially).

The purpose of the forum is to provide space for exchange of ideas related to play production and making use of the experienced folks who have been a part of our 50+ years of success.

Everyone has access to the blog and can submit plays for consideration; however the Forum will require registration and a log in to participate. Content will be monitored and the usual abuse or misuse warnings will apply culminating in revoked Forum privileges.

This season we will be adding a list of plays selected by the committee. We ask one be included as part of the three pieces submitted. (If only two are submitted then one should be from the list) The addition of the canned list in no way reflects on our directors or the plays submitted. It will assist the committee when, in the process of putting the best possible season  together, we are top heavy with one genre while lacking in another. All submitted shows will carry the same weight as those proposed by the board. So fear not intrepid directors. A little change is good...or that's what they keep telling me at the asylum.

Please feel free to comment on the change or anything else in the Directors Forum. We do pay attention.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Directors who submitted plays for our upcoming season. The number of shows and quality of potential directors made the selection process both easy and difficult. The range of  shows made it easy to craft a winning slate and, since only five could be picked, difficult to decide which ones to choose.

Congratulations to those directors whose plays will become a part of our 51st season. We look forward to working with you.
